Greetings again blogfans!
Well, I have been here a full six months now. More then that, but not by much. I've gotten to experience much of the desert, like the joy of being about an hour from the nearest best buy. Living near a huge missile range. Being in April and at this point only having 0.07" of rain this year. So for a few things of learned...
This isn't suburbia, lets face it. If you are thinking you're coming to a city no such luck.
If you want night life, this isn't the place to be.
If you like the outdoors, this place is great. You have to get used to it but there honestly is plenty to do.
People will tell you there is nothing here, and if you believe them, then you'll find it to be so.
But more importantly some nerdiness.
First off we have some quotes from school.
And then there is always just plain nerd stuffs.
What Engineers say vs. What we mean
1. A number of different approaches are being tired.
We are still guessing at this point
2. Preliminary operational tests were inconclusive.
The darn thing blew up when we threw the switch.
3. The entire concept will have to be abandoned.
The only guy who understood the thing quit
4. All new
Parts are not interchangeable with previous design
5. Years of development
One finally worked
6. Extensive report is being prepared on a fresh approach to the problem.
We just hired 3 kids fresh out of college.
7. Please note an initial.
Let's spread the responsibility for the screw up
8 Give us the benefit of your thinking
We'll listen to what you have to say as long as it doesn't interfere with what we've already done
9. It depends...
Abandon all hope of a useful answer
10. The data bits are flexed through a collectimizer which strips the flow-gate arrays into virtual message elements.
I don't know
I feel that I'll leave it at that for now. Don't worry, something else will crop up at some point.
